Kitchen Hack XXV: Eggnog No-No

Cooking with eggnog is a fine way to enjoy a last little taste of the season. Eggnog French toast, for instance, is a welcome change to the weekend breakfast routine. But simply because it has "egg" in the title does not mean you can simply soak bread in straight eggnog and expect it to cook properly.

Eggnog + bread = pudding.

Pudding does not fry well.
Best to mix a few actual eggs together and thin them with eggnog than expect eggnog to do all the work the right way.
